Heineken and Allianz team up to talk brand strategy

Two of the world’s biggest and most valuable brands

Hans Erik Tuijt, Global Activation Director, Heineken and Christian Deuringer, Director Global Brand Management, Allianz, are the latest speakers to be revealed for the Leaders Sport Business Summit, taking place on 8-9 October 2014 at Stamford Bridge in London.

Representing two of the world’s biggest and most valuable brands, Hans Erik and Christian will join the Summit as speakers alongside the likes of Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, Chairman of the European Clubs Association and FC Bayern Munich; Roel De Vries, Corporate Vice President and Global Head of Marketing, Communications and Brand Strategy, Nissan; Shaikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa, President of the Asian Football Confederation; Dave Coplin, Chief Envisioning Officer at Microsoft; James Pallotta, President and Chairman, AS Roma; Sir David Brailsford, Team Principal, Team Sky; Russell Wolff, Executive Vice President and Managing Director, ESPN International; Ajaz Ahmed, CEO of AKQA and more.

Responsible for the Allianz brand globally, Christian leads Allianz’s work with an impressive portfolio of properties that includes Mercedes F1, FC Bayern Munich’s stadium, Saracens Rugby, the Paralympic Games, numerous golf and tennis competitions, the FINA Swimming World Cup and more. At Heineken, Hans Erik heads up the activation of the brand’s sponsorship portfolio which includes sponsorship of two of the most popular competitions in world sport – the UEFA Champions League and the Rugby World Cup 2015.

Leading a panel discussion exploring innovation in the world of sports sponsorship, the duo will talk to over 1500 leading sports executives, representing over 45 sports and 50 countries, sharing their insights into the tactics that make a brand stand out in a crowded and viciously competitive market place.
