with Andy Flower announcement

Technical Director of Elite Coaching, ECB, Andy Flower is the latest speaker to be revealed for the Leaders Sport Performance Summit, taking place at the Emirates Stadium in London on 12-13 November 2014.

Widely acclaimed as one of the England cricket team’s greatest ever coaches, Andy took up his current role earlier this year following a five year stint as the England Team Director during which he won 3 Ashes series and led the team to a number 1 world ranking in international cricket.

Showcasing insights from some of the performance industry’s leading experts, the 6th edition of the Sport Performance Summit doubles in size from last year, with 600 top performance practitioners flying in from across the globe for the two day London event.

With an audience comprising managers, sporting directors, technical directors and performance directors, Andy will share some of the lessons he has learned at the top of international cricket developing talent, overseeing strategy and preparing for the big moments.

He commented: “The Leaders Sport Performance Summit is a fantastic opportunity for the international performance community to get together and exchange ideas and practices. I look forward to sharing my experiences with everyone at the event and hope to take away just as many ideas.”

James Worrall, CEO, Leaders commented: “Andy has one of the best track records in coaching, let alone in the sport of cricket. He’s admired for his meticulous preparation, core values and commitment to continuous improvement and we very much look forward to hearing from him later this year.”
