Kevin O’Hare, Director, Royal Ballet and Greg Retter, Clinical Director, Royal Ballet Healthcare, have joined the speaker line up for the Leaders Sport Performance Summit on 12-13 November 2014 at the Emirates Stadium in London.

Joining forces for a session uncovering high performance at one of the world’s most demanding environments, the duo join Arsène Wenger, Manager, Arsenal FC; Didier Drogba, Player, Chelsea FC; Andy Flower, Technical Director of Elite Coaching, ECB; Ceri Evans, Forensic Psychiatrist and Consultant to the New Zealand All Blacks Rugby team; Stephen Park, RYA Olympic Manager, British Sailing; John Longmire, Head Coach, Sydney Swans; David Priestley, Chartered Psychologist, Arsenal FC; Raymond Blanc, two star Michelin Chef at Le Manoir Aux Quat’Saisons restaurant; Geoff Miller, Mental Skills Coach, Atlanta Braves; and Diego Masciaga, Director and General Manager of the 3 Michelin starred Waterside Inn restaurant, as the latest speakers to be revealed for the event.

The Royal Ballet is Britain’s largest and most prestigious ballet company. There are 97 dancers in the company and its repertoire covers both classic and contemporary ballet. As the Director, Kevin O’Hare is responsible for spearheading the artistic direction of the company – promoting creativity and artistic excellence. His colleague, Clinical Director, Greg Retter, works with the dancers to improve their physical performance, helping them rehabilitate from injury and encouraging the growing use of science to help better performance.

Coming together on a different kind of stage for the Leaders Sport Performance Summit, Kevin and Greg will tell all about the environment, training and science that allow The Royal Ballet to sustain peak performance every night and produce some of most outstanding ballet dancers in the world.

James Worrall, CEO, Leaders commented: “We’re really looking forward to welcoming Kevin and Greg to our stage next month. The Royal Ballet produces some of the most outstanding ballet dancers in the world and, as two of its most senior representatives, Kevin and Greg will provide a fascinating and alternative insight into elite performance.”
