Leaders and event partner Aspire Academy are committing significant funds to the search, evaluation and selection of the best talent in the business of sport globally each year.
The award categories cover a number of professions within the global world of sport including: Sales/ Commercial, Leadership/ Governance/ Strategy, Marketing/Communications, Brand/Sponsorship, Digital/Technology and Media/Broadcasting as well as one Inspiring Leadership Award.
Entries will close at midnight on 30th June 2015 and, in line with our aim to recognise the industry’s rising stars, all nominees must be under 40 year of age. Nominations can be made below:
Award winners will be decided by a host of influential judges including, amongst others: Bruce Buck, Chairman, Chelsea FC; Boutros Boutros, Divisional Senior Vice President Corporate Communications, Marketing and Brand, Emirates Airline; Scott O’Neill, President, Philadelphia 76’ers and New Jersey Devils; Stacey Allaster, Chairman and CEO, Women’s Tennis Association; Ivan Gazidis, Chief Executive, Arsenal FC; Brett Yormark, President, Brooklyn Nets and Barclays Centre; Michel D’Hooghe, Executive Committee Member, FIFA; Sarah Lewis, General Secretary, International Ski Federation; Peter Moore, Chief Operating Officer, EA; Alex Horne, General Secretary, The FA; Matt Cutler, Editor, Sport Business International; Garry Cook, Global EVP, UFC; Moya Dodd, Vice President, Asian Football Confederation; Ian Ayre, Chief Executive, Liverpool FC; Simon Bazalgette, Chief Executive, The Jockey Club; Jeffrey Webb, President, CONCACAF & Executive Committee Member, FIFA; and Ivan Bravo, Director General, Aspire Academy.
The inaugural awards will be taking place in October 2015 where the award winners will be announced. These winners will also be profiled at the 2015 Leaders Sport Business Summit and will also be featured by the Leaders Under 40 Awards Media Partner, Sport Business International, in a special edition of Sport Business magazine.
